Since 2001, Tionge has opened its doors to Lusaka's most vulnerable children, running mostly on the kindness of others. What they needed was simple: the tools to learn.

A team of us handed all 149 learners at Tionge a bag of their own — packed with the books, stationery and everyday tools to carry them through the school year.
